More than 30 trucks filled with 5-cent coins arrived at Apple’s headquarters in California. Initially, the security company that protects the facility said the trucks were in the wrong place, but minutes later, Tim Cook (Apple CEO) received a call from Samsung CEO explaining that they will pay $1 billion dollars for the fine recently ruled against the South Korean company in this way.

the funny part is that the signed document does not specify a single payment method, so Samsung is entitled to send the creators of the iPhone their billion dollars in the way they deem best.

This dirty but genius geek troll play is a new headache to Apple executives as they will need to put in long hours counting all that money, to check if it is all there and to try to deposit it crossing fingers to hope a bank will accept all the coins.

Yeah for some reason someone put this thread on moderated, so even though I been posting on here no one could see or it wouldnt move the thread up as being new. Either way I believe I fixed that.

Google glass is too cool! I just checked out that link.

I've been reading about personal computer devices like this in a book by Dr. Michio called "Physics of the Future". Even though some stuff in the book seems pretty unreal, all of it has already been made into working prototypes. While it wasn't explicitly called google glass in the book, it was one of the personal computer device types that was mentioned (small screen type that can be fitted into glasses or a separate small screen, like the google one). The other one was a pendant on a necklace that projects the computer screen image onto any surface. Pretty cool stuff. They mention that this could have a military use too. Drones could fly over head and mark targets and friendlies, then relay the location data back to the soldiers glasses. The book also suggests that the "cloud" memory system will become increasingly important as the devices become smaller.

This stuff blows my mind, haha. So awesome!
