Anybody know where I can find some sort of "good looking" mesh material to cover this hole??
I tried home depot and Autozone but no luck... they mesh pattern is too large

depends on what kinda of "mesh" you want.
there is expanded metal which is the most common then there is perforated metal which is higher quality and more expensive.
round holes, squares, diamonds, etc etc. let me know what shape and rough size of the holes and i can help you find a more accurate link

My friend has or had the same lip, i think it looks better without a mesh.

This looks kinda good I'm painting it flat black also so it won't be hat noticeable

That second link is good I'm gonna look into it this weekend when I have a second. In reality I want sort of a mesh like he pic I posted that has small h9les to it

True but I wouldn't know where to start lol
and wouldnt pay somebody to do it. Maybe it'll be next summer project
