Tall guys, big people, heightly gifted. What do you drive, etc..?

Hi. My name is JP, and I'm a tall guy.

I'm 6'8 and the last time I hit my head was yesterday.

Anyway, i drive a wrx, and have a datsun 510 track car.

I fit in the wrx quite well, but in my past cars (sentra spec-v and is300) I've either made due, or put new seats in it.

Just wondering what difficulties, solutions or wants you guys have dealt with before, as I currently want an rx8 or S2000, and dont fit overly well in either one.

You usually switch the following items to fit in a car if you are a large individual:

The stock seats to slimmer buckets seats that at mounted lower to the floor of the car
The stock steering wheel to a quick-release steering wheel for easy removal to get you in and out of your car.

get after marke seats, and try to get rails/mounts that are low (bride low maxx would be perfect for u)

and +1 on what shavi said ... a steering wheel that's quick release

well if u dont have money for the solutions that Shaw and Charger gave u ( which u should if u have a wrx and want a s2000) then scoot ur seat back far as possible and buy a quick realease as posted by thee previous posters then u should be fine hahahaha...i'm srry i was not laughing at all

im 6'5" ish and im rocking a Subaru forester with Wrx front seats as they sit lower and can go back an extra 2" roughly...

Back when I had the 93 Eclipse I only weighed around 195 and I was still in high school, now that I'm 26 and my weights gone up, had to find some cars with bigger interior room...

lol, I wasn't saying I had an issue. I actually fit in the wrx just fine. I was curious if there were any other large gents on here with smaller cars. Seeing if there's any creative solutions besides the typical lower seat/bucket solution.

Lol true but idk if you saw the episode, the way they build the car.. I think inside the middle of the car it was raised up so Hammonds head did actually hit lol.

I am 6 foot tall 180 and drive a VW GTI. A friend of mine is 6" 5 and drives the same car, its crazy how he fits
