myself, ommmijido, and Andy (so steezy) were the first few holding it down and trying new fitment related stuff on Subies back a few years ago on the Nasioc forum. We got tons of flack for it and were hated on daily... but it pushed a new wave of fitment for the Suby guys. They always said we had "the wrong offset" or we "bought the wrong wheels" and that's how the Wrong fitment name came about. Some of the stuff we were running then was even more aggressive than what people are doing now due to everyone running tons of stretch now. We were going low offset, wide wheels, and still tuckin 255's+
The first 20-30 names you see on the list are mostly Subaru guys from Nasioc that were apart of that first group. People like Calitri, Shagon Wagon, and Kennyvb have had clean subies for as long as I can remember along with others on that list that chose higher numbers.
From there the crew grew to more than just subarus naturally.... and here we are.
Lynk purchased the WFC site, and brought us all together to get away from the regular hate we saw on the forums we posted on back then

Thats pretty cool. WFC is by far one of the best car forums on the web. This is like the melting pot for car enthusiasts. It drives me crazy talking about the same damn cars everyday on scion forums.. WFC is fresh on the daily and everybody is so welcoming!

YES! This is a great backstory, lol. I love it...it helps to explain why there are so many subarus too.

yeah i remember hangin out with you guys when i first got my subaru bout 3 years ago. even though i was completely stock i felt more comfortable around u guys than the average subaru crowd n spent bout 2 years saving because i knew i wanted to go the route you guys had chosen since day one. josh was one of the first people i ever even met at a meet n is still pioneering setups that are super low and meaty

I would have to agree...I'm amazed to see "Stance" branded coilovers, or XXR describing their wheels as "super stretch", but it lets me know that the fitted look is growing in popularity. Our challenge will be to keep the movement pure, lest the people joining the bandwagon adulterate the community with poor quality parts and lack of true style.
