New member 350Z

Hey whats up. New here, heard of the site for awhile but just got around to signing up. I first really got into the scene and look about a year or so ago and finally said f-it I gotta do this. Took me awhile to find a set of wheels I liked but settled on a set of Work Euroline's in 19x10+10 and 19x11+10 and then droped the car on coils this spring.

I'm sure the wing will draw comments, it always does haha. Its the Stillen V2 wing and was on the car when I bought it. Most hate it, some love it.. its started to grow on me mainly because it makes the car stand out from alot of others online these days. I'm still leaning towards removing it next spring when I have some bodywork and paint done. It looks great at some angles but is pretty ugly on the profile, I think if the ends were color matched mayhaps it wouldnt be so bad.

haha yeah its all good, I personally dont like it either but occasionally when the light is just right, and the stars are aligned and Ive had a few beers, I think to myself .."you know.. it doesnt look half bad" then I snap out of it lol.

Yeah I want to drop it a bit more in the rear. The coils are maxed back there so gotta ditch some collars. Also gotta put her on a kfc diet and make the ass wider, gotta push the rears out some with spacers and I'll be happy.

I know everyone likes to complain about their roads and how bad they are but I'm probably the lowest car in the state thats not on bags right now, half the roads here are dirt and its all mountains. I'm by no means the lowest around, lots others lower online but I dont dare drop the front any more. Park and rides are already my friend when it comes to visiting my buds.

I cracked those mud guards, one even had the screws working their way out and one was bent. Mud guards are gone now lol. Frost heaves are the devil.

but yeah not at all "low" compared to alot of cars especially you guys down south and in cali but its a struggle to get around up here in the NE mountains just at this hight. If I grow a bigger sac I may drop it a bit more up front, the coils are only down about half up there.

Def digging the wheels, very nice. Stance looks great, a little more low wouldnt hurt. And the wind def need to go when you do the paint and bodywork.

Thanks guys, glad you like it. For sure removing the wing. Plan with body work is to remove the wing, shave the emblems and do a rear wiper delete, new front bumper and paint the roof black along with tint. Thats next years tax return ha! Glad you guys dig it tho, this is my first run at stancing a car, still got a little work to do before its dialed but I'm happy so far.

I think the car looks great. How big is that lip on the front. Damn, I think the lip on the front wheel is as wide as the lip on my rear wheel. That's sexy. How hard was it to roll the lip in the rear. I'm temped to just shave mine off.

the lips are 4inches deep up front and 4 1/2 inches deep in the back. rolling the rears wasnt too hard. took myself and my buddy about 30 mins on each side ( was our first time ) with one of us rolling and the other using a hair dryer to heat the paint up (which worked great, no cracks in the paint)

nice wheels, I think you could eat a full course dinner in those lips... once you ditch the spoiler your Z will look 10x cleaner.

Thanks, the site is great and I'm diggin everyone's rides here so far.

I had to put the car up for now until I get some new rubbers. The guys who did my alignment did the toe all wrong in the front and I'm rolling on the rubber BENEATH the rubber and they were featherd bad. So gotta get the tires fliped around and have the toe dialed in. Toe is also bad on the back but I need to buy some camber arms and toe bolts to take care of that, a long with new rear rubbers, so its over time at work and driving my shitty winter beater until parts come in =(

Gunna go for some 10mm spacers for the back too I think.

Not with the new spacers but I will have some soon. After we put the spacers on my bud and I went out for a shoot, should have some more nice high qual pics soon. the wing isn't terrible i just think most of us see the z's without them. still you should remove this wing and get a smaller one(like oem or something). car is sick, like the fitment with the spacers.

Thanks for the love guys. Most likely done drivin her for this year.. woke up to tonz of frost and 27 degree's outside. We already had some snow accumulation this week as well, so its off to storage for her in a bit. Next spring will come wing removal/badge and rear wiper delete and maybe a little more.

So back in the spring of 2010 I went to the New England Motorsports, Kancamangus Cruise through the White Mountains of NH. About 300 people and 150 cars for the day long cruise event. This video was just finally posted not long ago and guess who's in it!? Haha, a few of my buddies are in there too. Man, I cant wait for spring and the next cruise, it was such a great time. Winter sucks!

i like the fitment and the color of the car. i have mixed feelings about that wing tho. its a dope wing, and it goes nicely w/ the body and lines of the z ... but i feel the rest of the car cant keep up w/ it ... perhaps a crazy front end and/or crazy skirts to go w/ the crazy-ness of that wing?
