The S8100 is one that is on my list of options with this variety of options and 1080 video capability, but of course that 1080 is not true HD quality that you get from more expensive and refined cameras. But, of course thats not why I want to get a compact digital camera. I believe I saw people comparing this to the qualities of the Canon SD4000 IS. Seemed to be a draw.
