My car is a DD (daily driven) and wondering if running a 225/40 on a 18x10 will be uncomfortable.
I know it would look sick, but just seeing what i need to do before i order my tires today.
It's going to be either 225/40 or 235/40.
The fronts are 18x9 so 215/40 or 225/40.
Help me out!!

225 40 should be good.. get 215 40 if u need a stretch even though I think 225 40 would be a decent stretch on a 10 wide

I pretty sure that one of my friend that running 18 x 10.5 and he tried everything to fit a 225/40 so u don't wanna go and lower than 225/40. I'm personally running 235/35 on my 10 and I think it look sick enough. So I would say go 225/40 on 10 and 215/40 on the 9 for the even stretch on both

shouldnt be too bad. now if you said you had a ls400 or something, youd be bending wheels frequently if the roads were bad enough.

i DD 18x9.5 with 225/40's...i dont see why that would be a problem. ive had mine for a for about 3 months now, only damage is fender rubage.
My DD is 19x9 215/35 and 19x10 225/35 No complaints!

i DD'd 225/40 on 18x10 on all 4 corners in socal roads. ei: inland empire, orange county, los angeles, san diego, las vegas. going about 80 miles a day.
and i daily'd 215/40 on 18x9.5 for over 2 years with no problems. and i never get brand new tires. always used.

There's a newb tire/fitment question thread at the top of this section stickied. Next time just ask there.
