18x9.5+40 on 17mm spacers and a 245/40 tire, yay or nay WORK wise, car is low

What wheel is this? I'm going to pick up some 18x9.5 +45 this weekend and throw them over a 17mm spacer to. Using a 235/40 though, which is pretty tall. Your tire will be even taller. lol I guess this is going on a GR?

i have my lowmax at full height and i can hardly see over my wheel!

at first i put it at thebottom mounts and i couldnt see anything but the middle of my steering wheel haha

Mines at the top in the front/middle in the rear..just added a little padding underneath the seat cushion!! feels even better!!

I personally don't like the aftermarket wheels except the prova just because I like having an airbag. I don't want to be impaled on my steering collumn and have the key!s symbol imprinted on my face. lol

AHAHA I Love my seat, nd not to many people have it (6 in the u.s, if i read right?! lol) makes me love it even MOAR!! lolll and went with a wheel cause if with my seat being so low, think if the air bag went off it would be straight to the dome/neck.....and probably wouldnt help any if deployed...

Nice pick up. I want the older blue Yoshioka QR but that set up will look nice on your car. The Key!s is so baller but on my daily I just couldn't pull the trigger on it. What else you got up your sleeve?

Abbitt I saw you post about getting an NRG quick release. I'd save up for a Works Bell. I know it's more expensive but it'll be worth it.

Through my research I found a few people that said the NRG units develop slop fast. Do it right the first time.

Luckily the STI isn't my daily so I'm good there. But I know what you mean. That white can and will get dirty fast if you're driving everyday with it.

I wanted to go with black as it flows with my car better. The blue would be badass though for a WRB car.

I've had a used nrg quick release on my corolla for 3 years, never had an issue with it..

well yeah im selling it because with the wheel i have... its a deep dish wheel. you cant rock a quick release with them because that shit will be in your face haha

unless you get a thin hub and thin quick release. :/

and i had nrg on my old car. love their products. works bell all youre paying for is the brand name.

my friends works bell qr was identical to my nrg and the nrg was smoother lol

I think this is the only set around. The guy I got them from said he had them made in 5x100 as they only come in 5x114.3 usually. Talking to Dennis, I might have to run 0 offset to clear brembos. We shall see...
