lol the car still runs and gets me places right? I've seen much worse problems happen to friends cars than a noise coming from mine that doesn't even affect the car.

Thus why ill keep buying Subarus. The only other car i would buy is a lexus. But it would be like an 05+ year.

Toyota ftw Even Lexus ain't perfect. Was visiting my boy at Lexus today and they had a is250 with pretty much the whole power train out(engine, tranny, etc). I believe they were fixing piston rings lol.

I did get to see the lf-a on their second floor. Private tour of it the battery was dead so I couldn't play with it

I just find it strange that after I get it back from that shop my motor blows...it was completely fine when I dropped it off.

Only shitty thing is, I can't prove that it was them that did it...fuck it

time will tell, not saying your lexus is gonna give you issues but every car down the road comes across with issues

I had problem after problem on my Subaru. Some were my fault but most were not. I spent just as much time and almost as much money fixing my car than fixing it up. I do miss my car though

yeah when my car was "stanced" it gave me no problems. when i drove it aggressively and autocrossed it was always in the shop. its been a month and im doing a lot of spirited driving and the maintenance is already popping up again.

so my argument is that subarus can be unreliable when it comes to being more than a car that gets you from a to b. is this always the case? absolutely not, look at josh's car. still, i implore some of you to start ripping on your cars on a regular basis and report back to me on their reliability outside of commuting.

See exactly, this is where I fucked up. I started getting on my car a lil more after I purchased a few things and then boom...blown motor, but hey this is how I look at it...2012 is a new year, it's time for bigger and better things. I found a is350 I'm going to look at and I'll have the money to bag it immidiatly so I'm excited about that
