I've always had real good luck with PlastX from Meguiars.
Other than that, just wet sanding I guess.

Nah, you should be fine. the subframe sits up above the frame rails. I've grinded all the bolts off my frame, that's about it. lol

this is perfect, I have a 2006 subby as a winter beater and have since moved on to my GTI as my DD....in the vw community air is a way of life.

Im going to sell the GTI and was dreading going back to the subby but now that i see this is catching on here ill definitely jump on this bandwagon
