P21S is a pretty good way to go folks. It's priced well for the shine you will get.

I typically use Chemical Guys stuff though because they are local, pretty cheap, supply the bigger companies and pro detailers, and have tons and tons of products to choose from.

Every time i get to a show I wipe my car down one more time.
So I always get some Ultimate Quick Detailer. Stuff works awesome.

I grew up with the whole meguiars and mothers OTS products, and while a lot of them are good I've since been using the duragloss line. ive had nothing but incredbile results with it... you'll end up with paint looking a mile thick and looking dripping wet for MONTHS. start with the duragloss #901 wash, then apply the #601 OR #501 to prep/clean the paint free from old wax and sealants, then wait for about 30 min and apply the #105 or #111 wax sealant/polish, then buff out. of course use two bucket method to wash, waffle weave MF towels to dry , and mF towels to polish. you can even take a garden hose with a steady stream of water and actually DRY the car with the stream of water too, its probably on youtube.
but i've seen this duragloss stuff literally keep a car clean after 6 months of rain/snow/dirt and still have shine. if the car gets real dirty between seasons, give it a rinse and simply follow with their QD called aquawax. check out autopia or any other detailing forum and you'll see nothing but rave reviews for this stuff

Duragloss is some great stuff for the winter. Their sealant is crazy durable.
I myself am a big Chemical Guys fan. I've been using their products for about 3 years now and it hasn't let me down once.
subbed for the black trim restoring...
I need to make the trim on my DD black again
for flack trim two ways. use an orange apc to clean it, then follow with Mother's back to black, but most of all there's some trick on this site

I started using CG recently and I must say that I like their products a lot. I will be getting a host of new products (washes, sealant, polish) from them in the very near future. I can give a short review of two CG products though...
Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax
Detailing.com showroom (Irvine) - $13.99
I recently picked this up after reading some good reviews on some detailing forums. It is a special blend of carnauba and polymers which should produce a very slick and buttery finish. I would normally use this after claying/polishing the car, but I decided to just layer this over the old Mother's cleaner wax I had applied before Subiefest. Great thing about this wax is that it is easy to apply/buff off, even in sunlight. Not everyone has a garage to work in (I do, but it usually has a non-moveable car in it) and that is a great feature. The finish is awesome, it has a very slick look. Not a huge amount of shine, but it looks very wet which is what it is advertised to provide. I can't give thoughts about durability, but I have heard that it doesn't last very long. Time will tell I guess. Overall, it is the best butter/wet look wax I have ever used while being very easy to work with.
Chemical Guys Wheel Guard
Detailing.com showroom (Irvine) - $14.99
For those who have seen my car, I have high-polish black chrome wheels that are a bitch to keep clean. Everything sticks to them and I can't go 10 miles without the shine being dulled by brake dust/road grime. Since I got them, I have been reading review after review on wheel waxes trying to find a good fit for my babies. I settled on Wheel Guard due to many positive reviews and high durability and shine factor. Chemical Guys recommends using two coats for the first application, so that's what I did. I removed the wheels from the car and cleaned them throughly with Meguiars Ultimate wash and applied the wax and waited 10 minutes to buff. The stuff went on very easily and buffed off well. All I can say is damn...Bling Blang! The shine is awesome, and it even covered up some of the hairline scratches that were bugging the shit outta me. They haven't looked this good ever...only when they were brand new. Durability is yet to be determined, but I am hoping that it does well.
Well, that is my review of two of Chemical Guys long line of products. I will be using more CG products in the future and I will be adding reviews accordingly.
Hm...to keep the car actually completely nice.
1. Wash it, bug & tag remove first, soak hand wash, rinse out with water.
2. Dry car, sammy.
3. Clay bar, any kind almost as long as it does the job.
4. Swirl remove, Wolfgang Swirl Removal 3.0 works, this actually almost for the old car with alot of swirl (light scratches) and require a machine buffer and a cuttting foam pad to do the job.
5. Paint restore with Klasse All-In-One. Restore all the inperfection of ur paint.
6. Paint Sealant, seal ur paint down with Wolfgang 3.0 Paint Sealant. Wait 24 hours after u done this for a complete safe dry.
7. After 24 hours, NXT 2.0 Paste Wax ur car down for another protection.
8. Just wipe ur car over with a Micro Towel after u done all that to clean up all the dust of the wax and stuff.
Now u got a perfect car with a perfect pant condition that will stay super shinning for a month (talking about no wash nothing....) and u can keep it up with a wash + details a bit with ICE Details and ur car will stay shinning like 6 months before u have to do anything else to it.
All the step above i list it for a car that NEVER been done by any kind of wax or anything, just completely dirty and u have to start off of nothing....
Step can be skip if u dont really want that step like Klaze, Paint Sealant, Swirl Removal but Wax it a must, Paint Sealant last longer than Wax btw. Clay bar, only when ur car it dirty and never been touch.
Im talking base on how much i love my car and wash it every 3 days, detail and wax every 1 - 2 weeks and trust me, if u ever see my car, it will always stay shiny and if u sit on it, u will slip off. I personally doing research and try over 100 products myself to see what works and what not too. And my car when i got it, spent 5 hours to do all that, didnt even get that shiny because of the pre-owner didnt even bother clean the car. After a while, detail + wax + all that, now the paint condition is at 100% shiny stage.
I also know alot about interior cleaning, headlight restore if u guys interesting, i can help

Smartwax and meguiars is all i use
good info in here... cool to see more detailing buffs on wfc
ima have to look into this.. the ap2v1s i'm riding on now have been custom polished and i've been looking for a good cleaner for them. i've heard of dudes using WINDEX and shit for polish/chrome but that didnt sound like a good idea to me
Good stuff now i know what im doing.
Im pretty lazy when it comes to cleaning my car, largely because I live in a condo and dont have a driveway, thus I have to pay $10-$15 to use the wash bay down the street everytime I wash my car.
But im pretty basic. Usually just a nice thorough wash (whatever wash I have laying around at that time), dry it with an absorber, apply Stoner More Shine to the tires, use some glass cleaner on the windows and mirrors and done deal. And then every few months i'll claybar and wax it.

I need help guys, last week it was the first big rain for the season and my car was parked under the tree, now my car has tree sap all over it. I used goo gone to get most of the bigger drops out but there the those little ones you can barely see. I was wondering if one of you can recommend me a soap I can wash my car with that will loosen/get rid of the sap. Its really a pain in the ass right now lol...
