Ah so I do know Cory then! He did the last clay bar/detail on my car before wekfest. I have used cg quick detail because he let me use it on my car. I thought it was just called ecoshine (green stuff). Being that I've used both cg and killerwaxx quick detail, I'd say they are almost similar but the killerwaxx quick detail is 5 dollars less and comes in a smaller bottle but the shine lasts a little longer.

^ never had to wetsand a new car... nor do I really want to. It's not too hard... just time consuming. The result will be good if the paint looked orange peeled like that M5 did originally. I still would probably just live with it if the paint was clean otherwise.

Since it's winter in Utah, I've been stockpiling detailing product. Turns out I have a local Collinite distributor so I'll be posting him a visit. Ordered some Chemical Guys V7 and I'm excited to give it a whirl and see how it compares to FK425.
I'm also planning on picking up a Porter Cable 7346SP from Lowe's and go over both cars. If you can't tell, I'm ready for summer.

I'm partial to Chemical Guys. I use Dodo Juice Light Fantastic wax and it beads up like nothing I've ever seen! very tight butthole.

After seeing the positive reviews of the Ecosmart from CG, I'm curious if there's much a difference from that and the "Smart ONE" product from Smart Wax. I know that Smart Wax and CG are one in the same, but curious if there's much of a difference between the two products.
