Would probably be a problem, unless the "putty" was able to be reshaped when heated.

Osprey- Nice job on the fenders, they look sick with those wheel widths.

I have a question for people who have steel fenders and who have to deal with rain and snow that I hope qualifies for "beyond fender clearance mods":

What do you girls and guys do to the newly formed inner crease to keep the water out? (the lip is pinched pretty well, but there are some larger gaps due to inner uneven surfaces)

I'm almost positive that this newly formed crease has probably cracked some inner paint exposing some bare metal and would be super effective at collecting water; plus rust spreads very rapidly if not taken care of immediately with the moisture we get on the eastcoast. I have sprayed clear in the crease the best I could, but I would like to know that it was all covered. Should I pour paint into the crease? or silicone inside the crease?
    thanks in advance
well...I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong

ive gone and done a full roll no need to do a bumper tab relocation as the bumpers are quite far back, i did have to remove alot of the inner guards as i was bashing on them at in the front, thwe back i really havent had a proper look at yet as im still trying to get the guards pumped enough

Just jump in there with a dremel and see for yourself what needs to be cut. Its different for everyone based on your setup. I just got done doing a buncha cutting on my 06 wrx wagon, no pics for ya though unfortunately.

and mine needed more cutting on the drivers side than the passenger side... even with 2 people in the car the drivers side still rubbed more. Not sure if its the same for all wrx's or if my sh!t is just whack
