    Default Time for a change

So I've been debating on going the "clean" route...well an "incident" made up my mind for me. Thursday I lost one of my sideskirts...How? I dont know...I got home it was gone...

Its a good thing because now that Im getting 17s I can go lower...I liked the kit because it allowed me to appear lower since I only have so much room(hardly any in back, none up front) to go lower with the 18s. Since all I have is stock sides, I put them back on and decided to start removing all exterior blue. So far everything I've changed is parts that I have spares; skirts, upper grille, hood, rear lip...I have a stock front but I haven't felt like taking off the bumper yet to change it, plus is has a nice sized scuff...I have an extra one thats a different color so Im thinking of either sticker bombing it until i repaint the stock one or until I repaint the current one to cover the blue. The lipkit will be back eventually, once I find a replacement side, and cover the blue on the front and rear. Anyway, heres pic of the change so far...

    Before:

    After:

stuff left to change: lower grilles, foglight covers, tails(back to cleared stock), hatch handle, maybe the spoiler, and wheels of course...

for wheels, going with the 17x9.75 all around Chromium Black 527s...going down to 17s will give me more space up front...as it is now, the tires touch in the back of the wheel well so I cant go lower, and i want to slightly tuck the front like the back is...plus without the lipkit it appears to sit higher...

dude i like your car how it is. i like the new grille btw. just a few things in my own opinion you should change. i mean, little things that would make your car sooooper clean.

    -oem head lights
    -oem bumper lights
    -unpainted window visors
    -black window garnishes
-get rid of the blue face on the wheels and do a full polish on the 18s

i actually like the 18s with the kit. just change a few things. and it will make your car sooper clean. sorry about your side skirt loss tho.

I cant do OEM HLs...I gotta have HIDs and I dont believe in sticking a HID "kit" in the stock housings...and its too much chrome for me...I do have a set of retrofitted OEMs but the cutoff isnt as good as the ones I have in...I may eventually repaint them TCM and use them...IDK..

    -oem head lights - ^^^^^
    -oem bumper lights-they are
    -unpainted window visors - hmmmm
-black window garnishes - took them off because they looked old and moldy...trust me, the chrome looks better
-get rid of the blue face on the wheels and do a full polish on the 18s - im planning on getting some chromium black 527s

too much blue imo. blue housing. looks ricey as hell. hahaha jk just tryna be like abbit. but i say rid of the blue madness. i would stick to your wheels and just full polish them since i know for a fact A LOT OF PEOPLE are going to be getting the new xxr wheels. trust me. they havent even released them yet, and they are already back ordered. and i rarely see your wheels you have now. just keep it clean and simple yo.

i'm not trying to bash on you or anything. haha just my .02

i'm digging your lip kit btw. i would keep that.

I love the before pics...if I wouldnt have lost the skirt it would most likely stay...the wheels are beat up and a chick really messed one up, and what it will cost to replace it and paint and get the tire remounted and balanced I can buy a whole set of wheels...

the kit WILL be back...trust me...once I get used to the 17s again and after dropping lower ill put it back on...

its cool nemo, I take criticism well. BTW, i knew your avatar looked familiar, I saw the video again the other day...lol

we'll see how long the no exterior blue last...
