Anyone mount these before? Took them to a place yesterday but the sidewall was so stiff the machine couldn't mount the tire?? Took the guy like 1/2 hr to work it over the wheel. Then when we aired it up, the bead wouldn't seal right. There was a small leak at the bead. Trying a different place today for the rest of the 3 and to get the one to seat right.
Anyone have trouble mounting these?? Or any similar issues when mounting your setups in general? We need more stance guys on the East Coast!! To get more shops to know their shit! lol

^^ Nankang NS-II I have never had them but i thought they have soft sidewalls lol. But it doesnt make sense the machine had trouble just mounting the tire.... Is it possibly a defected tire? And you may need a cheetah once the tire is on to seal the bead..
Just mounting it shouldnt make a difference on the width whether its a 255 or 215 though, that only affects the bead sealing...
you wont need a cheetah for sure...
i mount 215/35 on my works without a cheetah. a lot of it has to do with the wheel.
cause we have touse cheetah on like my shitty beater wheels but my works will seal perfect..

well i mean if its a last resort than a cheetah may do wonders. but like rpf1's and shit those wheels have those notches so stretching a tire with stiff sidewall is a mother fucker

Right, having the bead catch was no problem at all. It's just a mild stretch. But the guy couldn't get the tire on the wheel to save his soul. Took him and his buddy like 1/2 hr. Ends up that he forced the tire on, and nicked the bead in the process. Now there's a leak in the bead that won't stop leaking. We used a butt load of bead sealer to try that as a last resort but the lead blew thru that too. I wanted to try a cheetah just to see if that may just get it to seal, but I don't know of any shops in Tampa that have them
On the other hand, the shop I took the other 3 to today (which is the shop I intended to go to in the first place, they were just too busy yesterday) they got all 3 mounted and balanced in a few minutes a piece no issues. So now I have 3 wheels on my car, and have to wait till the end of next week to get the last tire shipped and mounted - because NO ONE stocks NS-IIs in the size I got around here! So pissed!
The test fit was dope as hell tho. All I need is a small bit more of pull on the fenders and a tad more camber and it'll be on point!I'll try to get some good pics with the good camera tmw during the daylight.
