Mobile1 fully synthetic 5w-30 all year round

I know its expensive but got to pay to play man.

if you're driving a subaru, this isn't the forum for this.
the only oils that are guarenteed to burn in a subie are motul, eneos, and the high grade blend of german castrol. with motul being the only forsure
royal purple, mobil 1 , etc have been known to take down engines
the three mentioned have UOAs on IWSTI and NASIOC that back what im saying
IBsomeonecomesandsaysthattheirsubaruhasrunmobil1fo r150k
also, i would suggest a 5w-40 due to vegas heat
^^^ it amazes me how many times i hear people say "MOBIL 1 IS SO AWESOME" and have no data to back it up... but im guilty of using it myself for the 1st and 2nd oil change of my sti's lifetime ... never again. im not gonna bother saying whats good, and whats not good, etc (this topic is on nasioc/iwsti like 1000x and its getting old).... but i will share my data:
my used oil analysis at 4500 miles:
and another one ... this time w/ 6000 miles:
and ... my wrx's 1st oil change:
(next one will be at 6000 miles)

I've used Royal Purple for the past 3.5 years on the car. I've heard Rotella with Zinc is the way to go with turbos tho. I'll try it out when I oust the factory turbo for the 3071. Zinc is supposedly a godsend for turbos.

I've been using mobil1 0w 30 for a while no problems
I kinda wanna try that Shell Rotella. Been using Mobil1 5w-30 full synthetic since day one.
please don't mrchan... just a fuck up waiting to happen
There's plenty of oils that are around the same price or cheaper that are better for Subies.
I am going back to Eneos. It's the best Oil I've ever used in my cars. There's no point in fishing around... just get the best!

Isnt Eneos said to be number 1 in Japan lol
mr chan .. I used to use that same stuff too. I stopped because of a lot of reasons ...
1. seeing other peoples oil reports (it has a low ass flash point)
2. it burns fast, I had to top off a qt every 1000 miles
3. it left A LOT of oil blowby in my fmic pipes (u should check yours .... be ready for a shock)
"runs fine w/o problems" .... u should send in your oil sample and see the truth .... or as grippy said, just wait long enough for ur suby to blow up
shavi, shell ftw. try it, u won't go back to m1
this bromance brought to you by ... teh t-mobile G2!
Dennis is that the standard oil analysis test for $25 your reports are from?
Royal Purple 5w-30 year around.

i use mobil 1.. seems to work fine for what i do. drove the cali and home on it etc.
brother uses it in his drift car as well.
Eneos just seems so damn expensive with oil filter it's like 70$ right?
