    Default KatieO's WRX Rumble Wagon!

I purchased my Subaru WRX Wagon, which would eventually be known as the “Rumble Wagon”, November 23rd 2007.
By chance, I stopped at the local Subaru dealer during my long search for a WRX Wagon and in their used lot was a 2004 with only 28k miles, nice wheels and modest tint job.
Despite the fact that it was bright red, I was instantly in love and took him home the next day.

What started as the fulfillment of a simple desire for a great car has turned into an absolute obsession and love affair.

In 2008 I began with upgrading my exhaust: Fully catless, Perrin up pipe, Helix 3” down pipe to a Blitz Nur-Spec. A Cobb AccessPort v2 , sway bars/endlinks and “stage 2” brakes were installed shortly after. My car stayed like that for a couple years and did a great job as a fun daily.
In January of 2011, I decided to take the car in a whole new direction and do a complete overhaul.
All work performed on my car has been done in my garage, with the exception of the alignment.

My goal with this car has always been to make it the epitome of a clean and well put together street car. I’ve always kept performance in mind with everything I’ve done despite the “stance” and so it’s also set up for spirited driving and performs beautifully on the track. AutoCross is my new addiction.
I know I’ll always have more I want to do, but I truly love everything about this wagon.

A big thanks to IAG Performance for all their support.

My Subaru is the first ever to receive this suspension set up which is made by a local company. This system allows me to adjust about 1.5” ride height front and rear via an air compressor located in the spare tire compartment and a few low-key switches. Although you can’t quite call it “bagged”, it’s more or less a coilover system with a small adjustable right height via compressor – perfect for clearing speed bumps while retaining maximum ride quality that a coilover offers.

I'm in love with wagons. It's just fun when something that is kinda considered a grocery getter or kid hauler is built and looks awesome.

You're like every guy one here's dream lol.
But, your car is amazing. I really like the idea of the cup kit. I am trying to sell my turbo kit to get that now lol. Mind if I ask what the cost of that was?

Thank you. I got a bit of a break on it so I'm not sure I should disclose what I paid. But I believe it retails for around $3500 for front and rear not including the coils.
