Car runs and there was no leaks so that was awesome. Uploaded my base tune and everything is kosher thus far. Getting my fenders and bumper back tomorrow from paint, hopefully my wheels, tank and strut bar mounts will be back this week as well and then just waiting on my headlights to come back which should be another week or so!

Took the day off from work on Wednesday and took advantage of the perfect weather. Was able to get my trunk built for the most part, just need to carpet it. Was able to get my 1 off duck bill spoiler to fit, super happy with that. Got my shaved fenders back on, side skirts back on, strut bar and mount, and engine plastics and trimmed the inner fender to get lower when i air out (stancefuckboiproblems) Oh, and i was able to drive the car around the block! Winning!

I will have my wheels back today or tomorrow and my headlights back sunday. So i am hoping to be done this weekend!

So thursday we were out street tuning the car and during a 2nd gear pull the car lost all power. Towed it home to find that the pressure tube for the BOV wasn't hooked up... so the motor wasn't releasing the pressure OR it was just open dumping all the pressure. Started the car saturday and it started fine but one of my pullies was now rubbing on my charge pipe. So i took the whole kit off and re-ran all the piping. Start the car up and it's idling like ass. So my tuner thinks i had a bad vacuum leak from one of my couplers. So i ordered all new couplers since the vortech ones are ass. Decided while i was waiting for those to come in and since i had the SC off again i would send the bracket in to get powder coated and get SC polished. Hoping that the new couplers and clamps fix the problem. There was no clunking or anything so the motor is good thank god.

Update: replaced all the couplers and clamps on the car. re-routed my oil feed and return lines and she runs like a champ. Hopefully it'll rain a lot soon and i can get this thing tuned finally.

    damn this is good!
although I don't care for the "eyelids" but that is a general thing on any car for me.
those motors are pretty bullet proof when it comes to boost on stock internals, right?

thanks man, i dig the eyelids personally, but i get where you're coming from as well! And yea, the VQ's respond well to boost. We don't need to worry about our bottom end till our torque figures reach 500.
