I used to have a great schedule. 2 years ago I had rotating weekends. I was off every Sat and every other Fri/Sat/Sun. So essentially every other week I'd have a 3 day weekend. Then they changed me over to just Sat/Sun off which was still fine by me. Now I'm off Thur/Sun. It's being a progressive decline in the last few years. I guess that's just how my company likes to reward me for my tenure (I've been with my company for 7+ years).

Same. I blame all of this rain we've been having here lately. I don't know how PNW people do it. Rainy weather always tires me out and puts me in a bad mood.

He's a good friend of mine. He works at a big collision shop full time and his custom shop he runs on the side. Obviously the collision shop doesn't let him partake in "fun" jobs, so he does all of his custom work at a different shop. He's just a one man operation but he does fantastic work. My buddy Carl got his car back from him a few months ago - he (Mitch) hand fabricated a full metal widebody for his S2000 that followed the factory lines of the car and resprayed the entire car a custom color. It came out gorgeous. My detailer also speaks very highly of the paint/clearcoat quality on the cars he's detailed that Mitch has painted. So it's taking a long time given the lack of manpower (he sometimes has his co-worker help him who also had a hand in painting my old Miata years ago) but I'm confident that the quality of his work will be top notch.
