Default my not so new daily - saab 9-3

been on here a while. mostly just poking around at other peoples cars. this is my probe I posted on here long ago. haven't updated that much, I will do that later.

its low and turbod etc etc

I only really drive it on weekends here and there. was my first car and I have had it 10 years.

Heres what I bought a daily.

    2003 Saab 9-3 vector turbo with only 118k km's

The day I got it, had been sitting for 2 years. bought it from the original owner.

Immediately did the required service items, new front lip and Megan racing coilovers:

Always wanted a B5 A4, so I had these wheels already before I stumbled on the Saab. so I ended up drilling them to 5x110, got some spacers and slapped them on.

Drove it like this all summer that year

cool picture from that following winter. Those great Canadian winters

The following summer, sold the benz wheels to a colbalt SS buddy and got these

18" staggered ADV.1 10 Trakfunction. Built for an E550. I redrilled them of course and ran spacers

hated the black moldings and bs. so I painted it all. moldings, lip, handles etc

the next winter I tried the benz wheel thing, but this time with winter tires. hated these wheels on the car. last 2 weeks and sold them to a Saab buddy

This winter I did stage 2 on the car as well. a buddy and I built a 3" downpipe.

At this point the car has:

    -Stage 2 software
    -resonator delete
    -3" downpipe with race cat
    -silicone turbo inlet pipe
    -all silicone intercooler pipes
    -short shifter
    -shifter bushings

    and tons of small stuff

this is now the past summer and current!

You said you had the wheels re-drilled..who did it for you? My Dart is 5x110 and finding wheels is a pain in the balls and I don't like adapters lol

Any updates on this Saab? Looks super clean. HUGE improvement after you painted all the trim pieces. I've always thought it looked cheap with the red and black trim.

Love my Saab, just saving for bags.

I rolled 2 full summers on the adv.1's. This past winter I bailed on them, sold them to a friend and got some cash and my benz wheels back. this was winter mode this past season..

over the winter I acquired a set of benz alphards...my all time favorite wheels..

they were pretty beat up, so I fully refinished them to perfect and of course, redrilled them to 5x110

this is how the car sit currently this summer:

Looks great on the Alphards, although admittedly I miss the baller-ness of the ADV1's.
