I just realized that Slammed at the Beach is the same weekend that I am heading down to the Outer Banks for my vacation. I'm taking my Crossfire down because the following weekend I am attending Springfest in VA Beach on my way back home. So technically I will be slammed at the beach....just a different beach.....lol.

You're right. It'll be more like "hammered at the beach"....and I don't mean my car

-Spark Meet - Bowie MD - 2 hours away

I'm still considering Tuner Evolution in Philly too.
H2Oi is definitely gonna have a WFC meet. Last year was my first time going and certainly won't be the last. I'll be driving my hooptie down

Yeah there has been a WFC meet @ every H20i I've ever attended, and I've been going to H20i since 2011. It's always pretty rad.

I'm definitely making it down to H2Oi this year! Missed last year because I just wasn't feeling it.

Yeah, I didn't make it last year either. My buddy had a wedding down in the Outer Banks the weekend of H20i. Not to mention it was basically hurricane weather all weekend. I'm definitely planning to attend this year.

    .

I didn't go to H20i last year either; mainly because the weather was bleh, but also because I heard "the law" loves to welcome their lowered car guests with a handful of tickets. Does anyone know if this aspect is improving?

    .
well...I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong

Honestly, unless your car is one of the more extreme examples and/or you drive like a total asshole.......you'll be fine. Both my old Miata and SRT-6 have been to H20i and I've never gotten any tickets. Most of the people you saw getting harassed by the local PD on social media either had a metric fuck-ton of camber, giant obnoxious stickers all over their windows or were doing burnouts everywhere. There's SO many modified cars there all weekend, so unless you deliberately do something to bring negative attention to yourself you'll likely be fine.

    This.
You can be stock and still get ticketed for being an asshat. Like osshwa stated, don't bring negative attention to yourself and you'll be fine.

Side note: did we get a date set for our Mid-Atlantic meet yet? lol
