I figured i'd start a build thread here since I frequent WFC, and haven't really introduced myself. My name is Jessie, and I'm from Honolulu, HI. I own a 2015 Subaru BRZ limited, been under my ownership since June of 2015. Prior to owning the BRZ, I owned a 1996 Z32 2+2. I didn't really touch that car much, but I did learn a lot on maintenance, and getting it running perfect. Ended up selling the car as a parts car due to an electrical problem I just couldn't find that stopped it from turning over or even cranking.

The brz is the first car I started to tinker with in terms of modifications. A lot of my influence comes from cars I read on super street, import tuner, stancenation, dohcresearch and stickydiljoe. My goal was to just incorporate JDM parts and OEM+ styling.. and simply just enjoy it!

The name "Risky Business" or rskybz was a little joke between me and my mom, and it caught on with a few friends. It was a project name for this car that just stuck.

Current plans for this car is to start cleaning up the bay, removing the windshield wiper tank, replacing the coolant overflow tank with the chasebay overflow tank, do bride seats, brembo brakes, and a few other things... Just simplifying the look of the car and cleaning it up.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words! I learned alot, and was helped/influenced by many guys locally. Without them I don't think the car would be where its at today. Prepping the car for HIN this week down in hawaii, pretty stoked!

Hope everyone had a great christmas weekend.

New updates to the build...

Decided to enter HIN Hawaii 2017 with my good friend, @ejboyy. We both love a more simpler approach on our cars and he certainly loves OEM+ as he has a lot of JDM/ OEM+ goodies slowly making its way onto his car.

Showcased the new, completed look. The car was able to take home Hottest Stance and Hottest Tire this past show. Only slight changes for Wekfest this coming feb, little details in the engine bay that no one would probably notice until they looked for it. Also will continue to tweak with the FLCA's to get the track width equal as it's slightly off right now... I like my things pretty spot on. Spocom HI 2018 is when the BRZ will see very noticeable changes.

Also installed my Volk Racing Formula lugnuts today, and I absolutely love how well it flows with my car and how subtle it looks against my meisters.

It took me awhile to get used to it, it's actually the new 2017 oem frs front bumper. I didnt like it at first but seeing it alot made me grow to like it.

Come to think of it, yeah it sort of does look like a corolla. Yup, I remember the kouki design for the 86 wasn't well received at first. But, I think they have their own charm to it.
I believe the wheels on his car are some Leon Hardiritt superstar reise wheels.

Figured i'd update since I did a thing to my car this past weekend.



Added my Downstar fender bolt hardware to replace the old scratched up oem bolts. I got them in aluminum/silver to go with the aluminum/ polished parts in the engine bay. Getting ready for Wekfest HI 2018
