on my bestfriends car he has 18x10 -6 up front and 18x12-7 in the rear Work wheels. the front 225/35/18 federal 595 and in the rear: 245/40/18 dunlop dirrezas. Pretty clean stretch we driven it from Los Angeles to Willow Springs, and used the front tires for the track and drove it back home to L.a. That was like 4 months ago and we still havn't changed the fronts. ahahhaa

Anyways, so I went with a tire brand called Achilles. Did some thorough research and found out these tires are used for drifting and a better quality than nankangs. (Did some google searching).
The stretch of the tires are amazing! I literally can go a size down. 18x10 is wrapped on 225/40/18 and 18x9 on 215/40/18. The rears came out very nicely but for the fronts, there is a stretch but the lips are barely noticeable.

Hope this info about the tire helped out some of you guys

Hmm 205/40/17 Falken 512 or 912? Im getting mixed opinions. They going on a 8 and a fwd car. Not looking for a extreme stretch but a good stretch. Something like this but just alittle more, since my lips look just like that.

Here's a picture of my setup for reference. I'm running a 205/40/16 on my 8". Tire is a Falken Ziex ZE-512 and the wheel is an XXR 521.

Ehhh I don't think it looks too bad. This is a Falken 205/40 Ziex ZE-512 on a 8" wide wheel. I'm pretty satisfied with it.

i've had good luck with Cooper zeon 2x5. they're real easy to stretch (even easier when warm/sitting in the sun for a little bit) and the sidewall is slimmer than most.

    these are 215/35 stretched on a 9.5
