Hey guys new to the site got a question. I own a ek hatch with a built b series but want to lean a little bit to the stance side. I got gc coilovers and I am getting a pair of bwr camber kit for the front before my new rims. I am planning on getting some 16x8.25 +15 on 195 50 16. Already have my fenders rolled and just wanted to know how 8.25 would fit seems a bit aggressive.

I have an offset question. I'm picking up a set of 17x9 in the next week or so but I'm somewhat confused as to the offset. My current set up is 17x8 +32. They sit close to the fender. The 17x9 I'm getting come in +35, +30, +25 and +20. Getting a +30 will sit at the fender but my question is what kind of offset would you recommend? Using +25 or +20 would means I would need more camber on the front and rear.

Hey guys! 18x8.5 Borbet type A's. ET35. MK6 Jetta. The car will be on springs until I can get a bag setup. I need some tire size/Brand Recommendations. 215 or 205? 40,45, or 50?

    Thanks!

^ I wouldn't go anything bigger than a 40 series sidewall on a 18" wheels. That being said, it looks like you will definitely needing some stretch to fit those. Unfortunately whatever size stretch you go with is probably not going to look very appealing because you're only on springs. I would go with the 205's personally. Check out Nankang NSII or Achilles ATR Sport.

Whaddup people, Im 100% new to this site. I was on mazda6club and they didn't help so much so I figured I'd come here. Site is SICK by the way. But anyway, on to my question. Okay so I have a 2004 Mazda 6 ALL STOCK and I'm pickin up a set of rims next sunday. 2 of them being 18x9.5 and the other 2 being 18x8.5. These rims have a +35 offset and my car now has 17x7 with 55+ or 60+ offset (not sure which one.) But really all i wanna know is will these rims work with my car? What all will be needed to be done in order for my 6 to have these wheels and it be able to ride normal with no rubbing? Fender rolling/pulling? I'm new to all of this stuff but I love the whole "stance" and I really wanna get into it. Here are the rims -->http://raleigh.craigslist.org/pts/3053598500.html

As long as they are the right bolt pattern they should work. +35 is a fairly conservative offset in some cases.
There's a lot of information that needs compiling. Hopefully they will clear your stock suspension setup, if they don't you'll need to run spacers.
Coilovers are a good upgrade because they are usually smaller around and height adjustable.

That second part is pretty important for lowering your car, and so is the tire you choose.

My best advice is to start soaking up as much information as possible from this site about mods people do on various cars/tire sizes and brands and looking for any low mazda 6s.

Okay, I'm back, again lol. SO, this up coming sunday i am supposed to buy a set of rims. 2 in which are 18x8.5 and 2 that are 18x9.5, with a +35 offset. I WANT to put them on my 2004 mazda 6. Which currently is all stock with 17x7 wheels and a +55+60 offset. Now, will this work? I've called a tire place and they said yes, that it would work but out of curiosity i went to a rim place and asked them in person and they said that it would NOT work. I need to know by sunday so i know wether or not i should get these wheels or not. help!

Anyone have experiences with Discount tire and their "Certificates for Repair, Refund or Replacement".
I'm looking at getting the Nankang NS-II. From what I understand from a friend, who was told by a rep, that it's no questions asked and we don't have to send back the original tire. Is this just good marketing or is it definitely worth the extra ~$40.

    Car 2002 subaru wrx
suspension BC racing coilovers eibach camber bolts
    wheels 18x9.5 + 22
    tires 255/35

(no fender work or pull has been done yet)
In these pictures the coils are not on yet this is stock suspension without any camber

My question is will they fit? how much camber will i have to run and how much of a pull is needed. im worrying about making these fit correctly

it all depends on how low your gonna be. the fronts will just need some camber and fender rolling. the rears on the other hand are gonna take some work. your gonna need at least -2.5 degrees of camber and thats with a flair. the lower you go the more work your gonna need to do to fit those. I run +30 in the rear with that size tire and I already have a decent flair and average neg camber and still rub everywhere at my height

Just looked at pictures of your car and it looks spot on perfect. basically want the same fitment you have. i have no problem with running -3 camber to make them fit. this gives me hope because i was thinking about getting rid of the wheels.

its possible, you'll just need more camber then i run.again, its all about how low you plan on going with those. also, your front tubs need to me hammered up and right now i rub the rear tubs. not much to do about the rears

make it happen and post pics
