    Default 2.5ill's impreza IS GONE

NEW UPDATE. Got some wheels for my protege. they are very aggressively stanced once i get some coils. just blew all my money on a new tv and nikon d3100 though. here are some cell pics.
    specs are
Ridler 655 17x8 +0 all around. Very low offset for proteges from what ive seen online

A local shop here in Denver had an sti hood for sale so i bought it real cheap. Its the darker silver but goes well with my wheels so im gonna keep the color.

I love the color choice on the wheels man. Its gonna look even better once you lower it. Just add negative camber until its not hitting or rubbing anything when you lower it. So its more like what camber you have when you are done as opposed to how much you should go.

oh okay i gotcha. so it depends on the car really. like how much the fenders are rolled and pulled or the offset of the wheel. thanks.

Looks like its well on its way. Looks good. Try spraying wd40 or pb blaster and using a hammer to get the collar loose.

yeah i didnt have any wd40 and only had one "sick day" off work so i guess its good till spring. the roads out here suck for being way low bc of all the storm drains and curbs.

Looks like you are too close to the CV boot. You might want it just a couple more mm's up than that. It looks like there is grease around that area also which may be from the CV wearing out. Just a heads up, because that's money you could spend on something else instead of a driveshaft. The CV boot expands from the force of it spinning at freeway speeds... it's rubber after all.

omg! i'm having that same problem, i would advise you lift it maybe a couple of MM to be on the safe side, i had asked the question if there was a rebuild kit, something i could do to remove the smaller clamp, move the boot more towards the tire and then re-clamp the boot.

Also lowered my car as low as i could for now. the front coils gave me a very hard time and are maxed out for now. tell me what you think.

Cant go any lower, tried to adjust the spring collar but couldnt break the torque on it.
