yo! i am going to be getting a 240 so i am starting to do research on parts and shit and i thought about this. is it possible to do a brembo conversion from a 350z or r34 on to a 240?

anyone have any info on this? parts needed, work needed to be done all that!?

Elliot are you on yahoo messenger? My boy with that crazy widebody s13 has skyline brakes in the rear. Also ... once you go 5x114 conversion... the 350z is the same as the s13. He bought a 6 piston AP racing front brake set up off of a 350z and it bolted right up... let me know if you have yahoo messenger ill give you my buddys name and you can talk suspension with him... he knows his shit real well.

heres a few pics... he actually took them off his 240sx and put them on his M45. Thats a 20" rim... so thatll tell you how big the brake is.

i was under the impression z33 brembos were the same as sti/evos but they are not. they use the same pad as the z32 turbo calipers. right now dave and mike are doing evo front brembos (using an mounting adapter bracket thingy), and z32 rears. however, you can use the sti rears using a shim. evo fronts are cheap and easy to find, sti rears are not. don't forget to use a z32 brake master and biaser.

oh and i believe you use evo rotors front and rear. i'll confirm this for you.

BTW. If you use STi rear, you need hydro e-brake. Don't think you can make the drum work.

^^ ya i read through that forum and found that out too. ppl are using the willwood hydro ebrake. its like 150$ or something, and would be legit for what i will be doing with the car.
